Takachiho Farm

So a few weeks ago (okay, probably more like a few months ago...meh) we took a day trip out to Takachiho Farm with the Peterson fam. We got to pet sheep and cows. Yee-haw! We also ate the most American pizza I've found since we've been out here (besides Pizza Hut, which just happens to be around 30-40 bucks for one. Um, okay! We got one a while back on a good deal for $17. What?! But back to the story...) I ended up eating most of it, which is really saying something, considering Casey's love for pizza. He was quite impressed with his awesome wife's pizza-devouring skills. Casey had steak and sausage, if I remember correctly.

Other events of the day included eating ice cream while we warmed up our li'l toesies in a manmade ditch with hot spring water in it. Oh it was nice, cuz it was a bit nippy that day! We then did a little sledding on the lawn, sans snow, of course.

Casey and I really enjoyed the day. We realized that these petting zoo areas are popular here because people just don't get the opportunity to up close to animals like that often. Of course, you can just go to the neighbor's house in Utah for such an activity! (Only slightly exaggerating...)

A big thank you to the Petersons for letting us tag along on their family adventures!

Bridger's not quite sure what to think here.
Heidi!

So nice! Bridger soon joined in on the fun and loved it.
View from the manmade, foot-soaking ditch...thingy. So relaxing!

This is me "putt-putting" down the hill. Yes, I am a pansy.

The real sledders on the hill.
Focusing in on subjects is really overrated these days, don't you think?
Feels kinda like home. Beautiful area.
