About a week ago, the cherry blossoms were out in full bloom. Boy, were they beautiful! We visited Tarumizu Park and a local park to get these pics. The blossoms only last for a couple of weeks, during which time many sakura festivals (sakura being cherry blossoms) are held. These festivals often include food booths, drunken karaoke, and family picnics. Once rain comes, the blossoms are history, so we made sure we hurried to these parks before they were gone!
Sorry for posting so many pictures. But I love them all.
